The Global Leader Development Programme (GLDP) is BMW Group’s international graduate programme, offering the opportunity to jump-start the career of recent and talented graduates. Completing four rotations, you will work on international assignments, one of which will be held at BMW headquarters in Munich.
BMW Australia Financial Services also offer internships to candidates who are either currently studying, or in their GAP year.
We attach different weighting to our selection criteria, depending on the job vacancy. Ultimately, it is the candidate’s overall impression that counts. An ideal mix of required skills, knowledge and the candidate’s personality determine whether or not they are successful.
Depending on the job vacancy, we often ask the candidate to submit a two-to-three minute online video that answer questions about themselves and their interests.
A telephone interview may be the first step towards a face-to-face interview.
The next step may be a job interview. The aim is to get a personal impression of the candidate in a conversational situation with a representative from the respective department and the HR department. If a second interview is offered, a small tailored task, designed for the role, may be requested from the candidate.
Professional and social media background checks are completed on the candidate in the final stage of their application. BMW Australia Financial Services will also conduct several additional background checks, including national and international police and credit history checks.
